Starting out as a Business Management apprentice was a sound footing for my future and it helped to kick start my career. This first-hand introduction into the world of business and how companies run has proven invaluable, as now I am able to visualise and problem solve from both sides of the desk!

Once I completed my apprenticeship, I changed direction and found myself as an ‘Employability Broker’ for an apprenticeship provider. I successfully placed and matched apprentices to companies in the South Coast region, ranging across all business sectors.

After successfully working on several major / large scale projects I found myself in the position of being head-hunted to go work for an international SAAS engineering sales company.

I climbed the ladder quickly and was in no time managing a team of 15 sales executives. Natural progression in this area followed and soon I found myself working for one of the UK’s major high street telecoms companies, managing 5 of their retails stores and heading up their recruitment for the South Coast.

I am delighted to have been invited to work alongside Richard Whittington of SFM Technology to progress a new venture - SFM Recruitment.

Although still in its infancy and in the midst of 2020 and the most extreme and challenging times, SFM Recruitment is already working with major engineering companies throughout the UK.
